TTT08L – Volterra and San Gimignano Shore Excursion from Livorno

Join this private shore excursion from Livorno lead by an english-speaking driver where you will discover the beauties of Volterra passing along the Etruscan Coast and the Tuscan countryside, arriving to San Gimignano known all over in the world as the Manhattan of Tuscany! San Gimignano is also known for the famous white wine, “Vernaccia” which you might taste at the local winery.

Upon arrival in Volterra, start exploring the town’s attractions. Visit the historic center, Piazza dei Priori, the Roman amphitheater, and the Etruscan Museum to learn about Volterra’s fascinating past. Don’t forget to stroll along the medieval walls for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

  • Wheel Chair Accessible :We can accommodate travelers that have just collapsible wheelchair. Our vehicles are not equipped by the ramp for a wheelchair.
  • The vehicle will escort you for the entire service. Walking is limited unlike bus tour where you have to walk the whole day.

Also known as Torre del Porcellino because of the wild boar sculpted high up on a bracket. The early – 13th century Palazzo de Priori, opposite, is decorated with terracotta, marble and stone shields of the Florentine governors.
  • Roman Theater (Teatro Romano) discovered about 60 years ago;
